This project is a level design piece inspired by the Fallout series. I created two levels using Unity. I used real Bethesda techniques and modular asset packs to build the world. I also used actual Fallout assets to keep the style correct. I focused heavily on environmental storytelling to make the levels feel lived in. This project received a grade of 73 out of 100.
The main challenge was making the story flow through the environment. I used ragdolls and props to tell a story without using any words. It was also hard to stick to a strict grid while using modular assets. I had to make sure everything lined up perfectly so the levels looked professional and worked well.
